| problem. They've been around for decades to test for a leaky headgasket and exist in multiple forms at almost any automotive parts stores. Get one on the way in (since most shops don't have them on hand) and check it when you go, while you're there. They are usually very accurate unless it's a hairline crack which usually doesn't produce that much smoke anyway. Hopefully it's something minor. Good luck and post results.
